I'm Fi, the baker behind The Cake Room

Fi is a self-taught home baker who lives and works on Awabakal land in Newcastle, NSW. Born and raised in Aotearoa (New Zealand), Fi made her way to Australian Shores in 2015 and has called it home ever since. Since having her daughter diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 2024, Fi has set out to make sure that GF cakes are beautiful, delicious and safe for families and friends with coeliac needs.
